About the Trust

This trust has been inspired by the 1974 batch of Modernites to create opportunities for economically disadvantaged children.

This will be done in one of the following ways:

Will provide, establish, institute, maintain, control, run, manage, aid and support an educational scholarship fund for the all-round, development of socially and economically disadvantaged children for studying in Modern School or any other school and to do any act, deed or thing necessary for or conducive to the promotion of this objective.

• Will provide financial help, aid, scholarships, prizes, stipends, loans or grants to or for the benefit of socially and economically disadvantaged students of or for studying in Modern School, or any other School or any Educational, Cultural, Scientific or Sports Institution, (including post school or post college assistance) whether for academics, sports, hobbies, personality development, cultural and curricular activities, medical help, transportation, food, nutrition and accommodation, of or for such students and to do any act, deed or thing necessary for or conducive to the promotion of this objective.

• Will provide financial help, aid, scholarships, prizes, stipends, loans or grants, in cash or in kind to the teaching faculty of Modern School or any other school in recognition of their exemplary contribution to the student community.

• Will sponsor, open, take over, organize, establish, maintain and promote or run educational, sports and cultural institutions, schools, colleges, academies, laboratories and libraries and in particular to aid an institution or person for any kind of research, helping to further or perpetuate the qualities or academic principles that the late Mr. M.N. Kapur stood for.
